There is no wonder in waiting, only the brilliance of hard work.
Have you ever thought that if you courageously take this step now and fight for your dreams once, you may be able to become the best version of yourself! In this issue of #WeStory, let’s look at the SVO Elite Club Gold Department Leader —— Steve Teh.
If you don’t admit your fate, you must fight to change it!
Steve, from Penang, was brought up by his mother and grandma. He was determined to work hard and let his family retire early from a young age! After graduating from college, Steve started a business many times, all of which failed, and the people around him even coldly criticized him. He decided to make a comeback! But he insisted on not giving up, as he moved to KL alone to work and at the same time study.
I will be able to become the person I want to be!
In 2017, Steve met SVO WE GROUP. When Steve first joined, it was not all smooth sailing. He was very aware of the rise of the e-commerce trend and wanted to seize the golden opportunity! Steve was unfamiliar with everything in the industry. He experienced losses, debts, and the idea of giving up. But he knew he couldn’t give up, that there was still his family behind him, and that he had to “hold on”!
In 2019, he set up a company and opened an office studio in KL.
In 2020, he successfully bought his second car, a BMW.
In 2021, he purchased his first supercar, the McLaren!
Looking back at all the small things that have happened on his journey, he is very grateful to meet like-minded people. Thank you to the leaders who have been around to support him, accompany him, and help him. Thanks to this, he can firmly believe in his choice and direction!
Steve: “What kind of life you want to live in the future depends on your choices now and, more importantly, whether you work hard now. There are no shortcuts in life, and there is no wealth that falls from the sky. There is no strong personal background, only the trails of effort.”
The road to success will not be smooth, but do not give up when faced with setbacks, find ways to solve problems, and insist on moving towards the set goals!
